A few moments ahead of the auspicious consecration ceremony of the Ram Lalla idol in Ayodhya's Ram Mandir, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to microblogging site X to share an emotional note.
"The surreal moment of consecrating Shri Ram Lalla's life in Ayodhya Dham will evoke profound emotions among everyone. I am truly delighted to participate in this divine event," shared the prime minister early in the morning.
The Prime Minister, on January 22, consecrated the Ram Lalla idol, between the auspicious muhurat of 12:29:03 pm and 12:30:35pm. With this, concluded the iconic pran pratishtha ceremony, marking a historic moment in the heart of India.
The ceremony began at 12:20 pm. The Pran Pratishtha ceremony for the idol of Ram Lalla, representing the childhood form of Lord Ram, took place in the presence of the PM.
"Jai Siya Ram," hailed the delighted prime minister who will participate in other notable events in the holy city Ayodhya over four hours through the day.
The 51-inch idol of Ram Lalla, carved by Mysuru-based sculptor Arun Yogiraj, portrays Lord Ram as a five-year-old child standing on a lotus.
