The consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22 will be live-streamed at New York City's famous Times Square, reports said.

The event would also be shown live at various Indian embassies and consulates throughout the world, India Today reported.

According to the news agency ANI, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced plans to broadcast the consecration ceremony live on booth-level across the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the country on the occasion.

Vedic rituals for Ram Lalla's (infant Lord Ram) Pran-Pratishtha (consecration) ceremony in Ayodhya will begin on January 16, a week before the major consecration ceremony.

Reports said Modi is closely tracking the ceremony's preparations and has requested precise information on the traditions and rules.

Notably, various VVIP guests from India and overseas are being invited to witness the consecration ceremony on January 22. Around 6,000 people are anticipated to attend the event.
