Jan Suraaj founder Prashant Kishor on Thursday doubled down on his attack on Nitish Kumar and appealed to the people of Bihar to ensure that JD(U) does not win a single seat in the upcoming elections.
"Under no condition should any candidate of JD(U) win. Nitish Kumar has started a new trend in Bihar that even if 5-10 candidates of his party win, he will form a coalition and come to power," Kishor said while speaking to reporters.
He added that Nitish Kumar is "physically tired and mentally retired", and if he is still backed by the BJP, it clearly means that the saffron party wants to remain part of the government in Bihar.
"Swearing in 7 new ministers 6 months before the term of this government ends simply means that they want to loot the people before exiting and signal some caste groups that they got representation in the government," he said.
Kishor asked whether the JD(U)-BJP alliance can they say for sure that any minister can stop the "loot going on in the ongoing land survey."
"Will it stop corruption? Will it stop paper leaks? What difference does it make who becomes minister, the government will be run by bureaucrafts only," he said.
Reiterating that Nitish is not fit enough to be the chief minister, Prashant Kishor also threw challenge at the JD(U) supremo.
"I challenge Nitish Kumar to come on camera and name all the ministers as well as their departments without any piece of paper, I will withdraw my campaign and stand in support of the chief minister," he said.
Elections are due in Bihar in October-November this year.
