Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, emphasized India’s role in the AI revolution, stating, “India is an incredibly important market for AI in general and OpenAI in particular. It is our second-biggest market; we tripled our users here in the last year. But mostly, seeing what people in India are building—the stack, chips, models, all the incredible applications—India should be doing everything. India should be among the leaders of the AI revolution.”

The Bosch Tech Compass Survey 2025 revealed that over 50% of Indians are actively self-educating in AI-related skills, positioning the country at the forefront of AI readiness.
Saibal Chakraborty, Technology and Digital Advantage Practice, BCG, emphasized India’s AI adoption, stating, “30 percent of Indian companies have maximized AI’s value potential, surpassing the global average of 26 percent.” He further noted, “100 percent of companies are actively experimenting with AI.”
