"The opposition has given full support to the government to take any action," says Rahul Gandhi after attending the all-party meeting convened by the central government on the Pahalgam attack on April 24.

"Everyone condemned the Pahalgam terrorist attack. The opposition has given full support to the government to take any action," Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi told ANI.

Further Mallikarjun Kharge questioned the government on how did the security lapse happened. Kharge said, "It is very important for PM Modi to be present in such an important meeting because the decision taken by PM Modi is final... How did the security lapse happen despite three-tier security?. This is a security lapse and the government did not act promptly in response to the terror attack. We will support the government's decision in the nation's best interest. We condemn this incident.. We want to send a message that the nation is united."

Meanwhile, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju said that the party went very well and all the political leaders unanimously supported the action taken by the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) with regard to Pakistan. "The Government made it clear in the meeting that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Government will have zero tolerance towards terrorist activities in our country and all the leaders expressed their solidarity with the Government for all the actions being taken by the Government and all the actions to be taken in the future," he said.
