After the obscene video of senior politician Manoharlal Dhakad went viral, action is underway in the country. According to reports, taking cognisance of the matter, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has terminated three employees for allegedly leaking the video of Manoharlal Dhakad.
According to media reports, it has been alleged that the employees stationed in the CCTV control room attempted to blackmail Manoharlal Dhakad. When negotiations failed over eight days, they allegedly leaked the video online.
Police have seized the vehicle involved in the incident and are now working to identify the woman seen in the video. Following the controversy, Dhakad has also been removed from his position as National Secretary of the Yuva Sangh.
A resident of Mandsaur, Dhakad, has been removed from his post as national secretary of the Dhakad Mahasabha registered in Ujjain following the incident.
Initially believed to be associated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the controversy surrounding Dhakad prompted the party to issue a clarification. BJP stated that Dhakad is not a member of the party, nor does he hold any official position. According to the Yuva Mahasabha organization, he had merely submitted an application online but was not accepted as a primary member. The organization further confirmed that he has now been expelled from his post as the National General Secretary following the scandal.
In response to the viral video, a police case has been filed against Dhakad at the Bhanpura Police Station under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (BNS). Authorities are currently investigating the matter.
However, Manoharlal Dhakad’s wife is a member of the Gram Panchayat in Mandsaur district. The incident has not only caused a stir on social media but also led to significant embarrassment for those linked to Dhakad.
