National Security Adviser Ajit Doval met with Wang Yi, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China and China’s Foreign Minister, in Beijing on Monday on the sidelines of the 20th Meeting of the SCO Security Council Secretaries.
According to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Doval is in China to attend the SCO meeting of Security Council Secretaries.
During their bilateral meeting, both sides reviewed recent developments in India-China relations and stressed the importance of promoting overall ties, including enhanced people-to-people exchanges, the MEA said.
