IndiGo, India's largest airline, has cancelled over 700 domestic and international flights across major hubs in Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru due to "operational disruptions," leaving thousands of passengers stranded between December 2 and 4. The sudden collapse of flight schedules led to long queues, missing luggage, and hours-long waiting at terminals.
Of the 550 flights affected, Delhi recorded the highest number of cancellations at 172, followed by Mumbai with 118 and Bengaluru with 100. Hyderabad saw 75 cancellations, while Kolkata reported 35, Chennai 26, and Goa 11. Several other airports across the country also faced disruptions.
