In addition, Islamabad fired a Fatah-II long-range missile toward Delhi, which was intercepted and destroyed by Indian defences over Sirsa in Haryana.

Indian forces, in retaliation, pounded Pakistani military positions, escalating hostilities for the second consecutive day.

The Indian Air Force and Army used advanced systems, including the S-400 Triumf, Akash, and Barak-8 missile networks, to thwart the incoming attacks and launch targeted retaliatory strikes across the border.
