As many as 34 Indian fishermen--32 from Tamil Nadu and 2 from Kerala, have been arrested by the Sri Lankan Navy while they were fishing near Dhanushkodi in TN, Chief Minister M K Stalin said on Sunday, and urged the Centre to take action for their immediate release. These fishermen had ventured for fishing from the Rameswaram fishing harbour in three mechanised fishing boats and were arrested on January 25, along with their boats, Stalin told External Affairs Mininster S Jaishankar on Sunday.

Speaking about rising Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS) cases in Pune, Pawar announced, "The treatment for this issue is very expensive. After discussions with officials from the district administration and municipal corporation, we have decided to provide free treatment to affected citizens. Those from Pimpri-Chinchwad will be treated at YCM Hospital, while patients from Pune Municipal Corporation areas will receive treatment at Kamla Nehru Hospital. For citizens from rural areas, free treatment will be provided at Sassoon Hospital in Pune."

“The people of Delhi have two models: the first is the Kejriwal model - where the public's money is spent on the public... and the second is the BJP model - where the public's money goes into the pockets of their rich friends. Now the public has to decide which model to choose,” Kejriwal said on Sunday in what he said was a press conference on a “very” important issue.

Intensifying the tax jab at the Bharatiya Janata Party, AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday asked the electorate in Delhi to carefully decide between two competing models of development. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday urged the people of Delhi to choose between two governance models—the "Kejriwal model," focused on public welfare, and the "BJP model," which he claimed funnels public funds into the hands of wealthy allies. Kejriwal further alleged that the BJP-led central government has written off loans amounting to ₹10 lakh crore for approximately 400-500 individuals over the past five years.
