An elector can cast the vote only if the person's name is present on the list.

The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) enumeration form is now available online, with the entire process managed directly by the Election Commission of India (ECI).

Voters can simply click the dedicated link on the EC website or use the ECINET app, and fill in their details.

To submit SIR enumeration forms online, one must link their EPIC with their mobile number. The EPIC (Electors Photo Identity Card) is a 10-digit unique identification number issued by the Election Commission. As per the commission, all voters must complete and submit the enumeration form either to the BLO or through the online portal.

Each assembly constituency has an Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) in charge, assisted by Booth-Level Officers (BLOs) who are visiting homes to verify voter details and collect forms. The polls panel issued forms 6, 7,8 and 8a in this regard.
