Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief N Chandrababu Naidu will take oath as the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister for a fourth term on Wednesday at at 11.27 am. Naidu first became the chief minister in 1995.
The swearing-in ceremony will take place near Kesarapalli IT Park at Gannavaram in Krishna district. Naidu was unanimously elected the National Democratic Alliance’s Leader of the House at a meeting held at Vijayawada after JanaSena Party chief K Pawan Kalyan proposed his name.
The ceremony is expected to be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Union Ministers JP Nadda and Bandi Sanjay Kumar. Several chief ministers including Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar, Rajasthan chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, and Maharashtra chief minister Eknath Shinde are also likely to attend the event.

According to News18, Pawan Kalyan has been offered the deputy CM post. NDA partners Janasena and BJP are likely to get five to six berths in the cabinet, as per the report. As per the strength of the Andhra Pradesh assembly (175), the cabinet can have 26 ministers including the CM.
Satya Kumar Yadav is the only BJP MLA who will be sworn in as a Minister. Three Ministers from Jana Sena Party are Pawan Kalyan, Nadendla Manohar and Kandula Durgesh.
According to reports, elaborate security arrangements have been made with 10,000 strong police personnel, and LED screens have been set up for a live telecast of the event in major cities and towns across the state.
The TDP has invited farmers who gave their land for the construction of the Amaravati capital project, as well as to some people who were allegedly harassed during the previous YSR Congress regime, reported news agency PTI.
In the assembly election, the NDA alliance won 164 out of 175 seats - out of which, the TDP bagged 135 seats, Janasena won 21 seats, and the BJP got eight seats. Meanwhile, in the Lok Sabha election, the NDA alliance won 21 out of the 35 seats.
