Delhi Police informed that roads in Old Rajinder Nagar blocked by protesting students after the incident of flooding of the basement of a coaching institute. Some students blocked both carriageways of Pusa Road near Karol Bagh Metro Station, which is an arterial road with many hospitals in the vicinity. They were repeatedly requested to not block the main road by DCP Central as well as DM Central. Since they refused to clear the main road even after an hour, they were removed from there, considering the massive public inconvenience and nearby hospitals

Delhi Police reported that the incident happened at 6:35 pm...Rainwater suddenly filled the basement of the coaching centre. As soon as the information of the incident was received, Delhi Police ASI Birendra immediately reached the spot. The fire department officials received a call at around 7:10 pm. According to the fire officer, water was immediately pumped out from the basement. In such a situation, the help of divers was needed. Therefore, NDRF was informed about this. The rescue operation was being carried out with a big torch. The student's body was taken out at around 10:40 pm. The second body was taken out at around 11:10 pm. The third body was found by the NDRF at around 1 am.

The National Testing Agency has announced the results for CUET-UG, paving the way to begin the undergraduate admission process which has been delayed this year.The NTA had on July 7 released the provisional answer keys of the CUET-UG 2024. Manappuram Finance Limited has been fined Rs 41.5 lakh, and Visa Worldwide Pte Limited has been fined Rs 2.4 million. Ola Financial Services has been fined Rs 87.55 lakh in two separate cases.
