As India clinched a decisive victory over Pakistan in the just-concluded Asia Cup 2025 in Dubai, the underlying undertone in most of the congratulatory messages from political leaders can't be ignored. With implicit reference to New Delhi's success in Operation Sindoor, the barrage of posts wishing Team India was started by none other than Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Reacting to the victory, Prime Minister Narendra Modi added a political flair to his post. "#OperationSindoor on the games field. Outcome is the same - India wins! Congrats to our cricketers," read PM's post.

External Affairs minister S Jaishankar also wished Team India for its success and sought to convey the message that 'new' India is on a upward trajectory. "Congrats to Team India on winning the Asia Cup," read the post from EAM Jaishankar. His Post harks of a new India, a new India that delivers, indicating the upward growth trajectory of the nation in all dynamics.

Similarly, Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath drove home the point that the country is excelling in multiple fields. "Whatever the field, victory will always be India's... Hearty congratulations to every player of the Indian cricket team! Jai Hind," tweeted the UP CM.
