The minister specifically requested PM Modi’s assistance in attracting investments to Andhra Pradesh, with a focus on the IT, electronics, and communication sector. Highlighting the state government’s reforms in the education sector, Lokesh sought the PM's "guidance" in improving academic standards and achieving better results. He reiterated Andhra Pradesh’s commitment to contributing to the realisation of Viksit Bharat 2047. "I look forward to his continued guidance and blessings as we advance key initiatives for growth and prosperity," he said in a post on X.

PM Modi, in response, assured that the Centre would extend its fullest support for the development of Andhra Pradesh. On the occasion, Lokesh presented the Prime Minister with a coffee table book on Yoga Andhra.

Separately, Lokesh also met Union External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, where he sought support for various initiatives of the State Government.
