Air India on Tuesday announced the extension of suspension on all flights to and from Tel Aviv till June 19, 2025. Air India, the only Indian carrier to operate direct services to Tel Aviv, normally has weekly flights to the Israeli city from Delhi.
In a post on X, Air India said, "Our flights to and from Tel Aviv will remain suspended till 19th June 2025. Customers holding valid tickets for travel till 19th June will be offered a one-time waiver on rescheduling charges or a full refund for cancellations."
On May 4, Air India had to divert its Delhi-Tel Aviv ight to Abu Dhabi due to the missile attack near the Tel Aviv airport.

Meanwhile, Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree claimed the group had fired a hypersonic missile at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv and said another missile had struck a “vital target” east of the city.
Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthi rebels later claimed responsibility for both attacks, saying they had launched two ballistic missiles toward Israel, with Ben Gurion Airport as the target.
The Houthis, who control large swathes of Yemeni territory, have regularly fired drones and missiles at Israel since the Gaza war began, aligning themselves with Iran’s regional proxy network in support of Hamas.
