Bandekar said the organisation will lobby hard with the like-minded people against such a trend.The Goa Church, which covers all churches and chapels in the state, has echoed the concerns raised by the right wing Hindu organisations.Francisco Caldeira, spokesman of Goa Church, said the state government should not orient itself towards this kind of tourism."We cant stop people from coming here and holidaying.But the campaigns should not be inclined towards inviting them specially," Caldeira said.State tourism director Swapnil Naik on Wednesday had said, "Goa is open for such kind of tourists (LGBT). We may not promote it (LGBT tourism) but we cannot ignore this trend, which is emerging on the international tourism scene," he had said.
