    Emkay has come out with its first quarter (April - June’ 25) earnings estimates for the Cement sector. The brokerage house expects UltraTech to report net profit at Rs 1,637.4 crore down 3% year-on-year (down 29.7% quarter-on-quarter).

    Net Sales are expected to increase by 0.2 percent Y-o-Y (down 12.5 percent Q-o-Q) to Rs 17,562.2 crore, according to Emkay.

    Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) are likely to rise by 3.3 percent Y-o-Y (down 23.4 percent Q-o-Q) to Rs 3,151.3 crore.
