PG Electroplast shares were trading at a gain of more than 6 percent during early market hours on Friday, February 7, led by its positive earnings report for Q3FY25. PG Electroplast shares were trading at Rs 883.55 as of 11:20 am, on February 6, a gain of 5.1 percent.

For the quarter ended December of FY25, the company reported a growth of 109 percent on year-on-year (YoY) basis in its net profit. Thus, taking it to Rs 40.1 crore as against Rs 19.2 crore in Q3 FY24.
The company's revenue from operations also stood higher, at Rs 967.7 crore, which was a gain of 81.9 percent over Rs 531.9 crore recorded in the corresponding period of the previous financial year. This was primarily led on the back of product business sales of worth Rs 663 crore.
On the operating front, EBITDA increased by 102.9 percent, reaching at Rs 85.2 crore in the third quarter of this fiscal over Rs 42 crore in the last year. Meanwhile, EBITDA margin was at 8.8 percent, higher than the 7.9 percent reported in the third quarter of previous financial year.
PGEL, being involved in providing engineering services and manufacturing consumer electronics, holds a positive growth outlook in terms of the sector. This is primarily led by the Union Budget 2025's higher focus on MSME's with the proposed National Manufacturing Mission. The management views great growth potential on the back of both existing and new clients.
In a previous development on the company's operations, PGEL had received PLI approval for air conditioner components, from the government in its third round PLI related extended benefits on white goods.
