Shares of BLS International Services gained 6 percent to hit a 52-week high of Rs 315.75 in early trade on December 12 after the company won a contract from the Indian mission in Canada.
At 9:36am, BLS International Services was quoting at Rs 314.70, up Rs 18.35, or 6.19 percent on the BSE.
"The company has been awarded the contract for outsourcing consular, passport, and visa services by the High Commission of India (HCI) in Canada. This contract encompasses operations at HCI in Ottawa and Consulate Generals of India (CGIs) in Toronto and Vancouver," the company said in a statement.
As part of the contract, BLS International will continue to provide a range of services, including consular support, passport processing, and visa facilitation.

On December 4, the company had bagged a substantial order from the State Health Agency – Ayushman Bharat-Pradhanmantri Jan Arogya Yojana, Uttar Pradesh. This strategic collaboration involves the processing of Ayushman Cards on the National Health Authority (NHA) IT platform.
On November 27, the company received a contract from the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) to conduct a comprehensive data quality check for Aadhaar information. The project, spanning over three years and extendable by another two years, could generate revenues of around Rs 50 crore.
The company had posted 56.3 percent jump in its September quarter net profit at Rs 78.75 crore.
