RBS underweight on metals

Devesh Kumar, Head of Equities, RBS India is underweight on metals.

Kumar told CNBC-TV18, "In metals couple of companies, where there is full integration those companies will be preferred but its not necessary to be in those companies and wherever because of political news and mine related issues we have seen big correction, I think there we find that valuation wise it is looking attractive but otherwise as a sector we are underweight on metals."

He further added, "In IT, the global scenario is going to impact it but at the same time we are seeing movement of orders that continues to India and therefore IT looks better of the lot."
