Suzlon agrees to sell 26% stake in Hansen; stock up 3%

Suzlon Energy touched an intraday high of Rs 55.05 and an intraday low of Rs 52.35. At 12:19 hrs the share was quoting at Rs 54.55, up Rs 1.65, or 3.12%.

The company has agreed to sell 26% stake in Hansen Transmission Int to ZF Friedrichshafen AG, reports CNBC-TV18.

In last November, it had sold 35.2% of Hansen to raise about USD 361 million, bringing down its shareholding to 26%.
 
It was trading with volumes of 2,792,464 shares. In the previous trading session, the share closed up 0.67% or Rs 0.35 at Rs 52.90.
