Sukhani told CNBC-TV18, "Indian Hotels has rallied on the back of some news but beyond that it is a very low beta stock. So purely on technical, I would say it is a buying opportunity but as a trader there are so many other opportunities in different sectors, so hotels is not a preferred sector. With that caveat the chart suggests there is more upside here."
The share touched its 52-week high Rs 82.60 and 52-week low Rs 51.00 on 08 Jul, 2011 and 30 Dec, 2011, respectively.
Currently, it is trading -25.12% below its 52-week high and 21.27% above its 52-week low.
Market capitalisation stands at Rs 4,994.22 crore.
The company's trailing 12-month (TTM) EPS was at Rs 1.86 per share. (Mar, 2012). The stock's price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio was 33.23. The latest book value of the company is Rs 40.31 per share. At current value, the price-to-book value of the company was 1.53. The dividend yield of the company was 1.62%.
