Fertility startup Pluro Fertility and IVF has raised Rs 125 crore in a Series A funding round led by Bessemer Venture Partners that has valued the startup at Rs 1,000 crore.

The fund raise saw participation from prominent angel investors including Vikram Chatwal of MediAssist, Dharmil Sheth and Hardik Dedhia of PharmEasy, along with Salil Musale of Astarc Ventures.

Founded earlier this year by Dr Jaydeep Tank, Dr Parikshit Tank and Dr Bhaskar Shah, Pluro is building a pan-India network of fertility centres through a clinical partnership model that preserves doctors’ autonomy while centralizing operations. The startup plans to scale to 25 centers by March 2026 and expand to over 100 clinics within three years.

“India’s most respected fertility specialists have spent decades building trusted patient relationships and delivering consistent clinical outcomes,” said Dr Jaydeep Tank, co-founder and CEO. “Pluro solves operational bottlenecks and enables them to serve couples, truly becoming partners in the journey to parenthood,” he added.

Pluro’s model offers equity participation to partner doctors, aligning incentives and enabling wealth creation as the platform scales. The company manages non-clinical functions such as practice management, technology, compliance and marketing, allowing clinicians to focus solely on patient care.

The fresh capital will be used to expand Pluro’s network, invest in technology and deepen capabilities in advanced reproductive science.

“India needs scalable, credible fertility care now more than ever,” said Nithin Kaimal, Partner and COO at Bessemer Venture Partners India. “Pluro brings together world-class medical leadership and a thoughtful partnership model for doctors, backed by strong execution.”

Pluro’s founder include Dr Jaydeep Tank, who isa veteran gynecologist and former president of FOGSI. The other founders are Dr Parikshit Tank, an IVF specialist and medical author, along with Dr Bhaskar Shah, who is a renowned cardiologist and co-founder of Asian Heart Institute and Jupiter Hospitals.
