Royal Enfield, a division of Eicher Motors, unveiled the all-new Himalayan motorcycle on November 24 at a special introductory price of Rs 2.69 lakh until December 31, 2023.
The highly anticipated motorcycle was launched at Motoverse 2023, the brand's largest motorcycle festival currently happening in Goa.
The all-new Himalayan, which was unveiled to the globe earlier this month at EICMA 2023, is now available for booking in retails in India beginning today, and will be accessible across Europe beginning March 2024.
As per the official press release, the all-new Himalayan is available in three distinct variants: Base, Pass, and Summit, as well as a palette of five colours inspired by Himalayan elements: Kaza Brown (base variant), Slate series comprising- Poppy Blue & Himalayan Salt (Pass- mid variant), and Hanle Black & Kamet White (Summit- top variant). The Himalayan's adventure-ready capabilities will soon be available in the Asia-Pacific region and the Americas, demonstrating Royal Enfield's dedication to global riders.
Speaking at the launch of the motorcycle, Royal Enfield CEO, B Govindarajan said, “Embarking on the creation of the new Himalayan, we immersed ourselves in the riding experiences of our community, engaging with globetrotters, explorers, and athletes….In line with our Pure Motorcycling philosophy, we are also delighted to announce the upcoming Himalayan Adventure calendar for our passionate community across the globe. ”
The Himalayan 450 will take the place of the present Himalayan 411. Aside from the new engine, the Himalayan 450 will mark a number of firsts for the Indian company. The 450 is the same ADV-shaped motorbike as previously but with different panels and styling for a new look. The new all-digital instrument cluster at the front has smartphone connectivity as well as integrated navigation with Google Maps.
