The Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UPRERA) has approved six new real estate projects across different regions of the state.

According to the authority, the combined investment for these six projects stands at Rs 176.28 crore and will lead to the construction of 501 new units, comprising residential flats and commercial shops.

These projects will come up in different cities in Uttar Pradesh including Ayodhya, Lucknow, Noida, Jhansi, Prayagraj and Moradabad. These new projects include high-rise apartments, villas, plots, shops, and other commercial spaces. These projects span across affordable and mid-income housing categories.

These real estate projects were approved in the 186th meeting of UPRERA on October 13. UPRERA Chairman, Sanjay Bhoosreddy, headed the meeting.

“UPRERA remains committed to fostering transparency, accountability, and structured growth in the real estate sector. Our stringent and transparent approval process ensures that only compliant projects move forward. The approval of these six projects is a reflection of the growing trust in the regulated real estate ecosystem of Uttar Pradesh. With an investment of over Rs 176 crore, these projects will give a new impetus to residential and commercial development across various regions of the state,” Bhoosreddy said.

He said that cities like Ayodhya and Jhansi, which are witnessing rapid urbanization, are becoming attractive destinations for developers and investors alike.

This shift toward emerging urban centers is aligned with the state's broader vision of promoting balanced regional development, ensuring that growth opportunities extend to Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities as well, he said.

According to UPRERA data, as of October, the authority has over 4,500 projects registered across the state, with cumulative real estate investments exceeding Rs 2.5 lakh crore. The National Capital Region (NCR) districts of Noida and Ghaziabad form 45 percent of total projects registered with UPRERA.

The approval of these projects is expected to enhance housing availability in Uttar Pradesh, particularly for the affordable and mid-income segments.
