Embassy REIT appoints COO Amit Shetty as next CEO, Ritwik transitions to advisory role

Embassy REIT appoints Amit Shetty as CEO, effective August 1

Embassy Office Parks REIT has appointed current Chief Operating Officer Amit Shetty as its Chief Executive Officer, effective August 1, 2025, the company informed.

Shetty had joined the company in 2021 from CBRE, where he worked for 14 years in senior leadership roles, and has helped establish the REIT as a leading commercial office platform in India.

Ritwik Bhattacharjee, the current CEO, will transition to the role of Senior Advisor to the REIT.

After conducting a process with a global executive search firm, the Board of the Manager to Embassy REIT unanimously chose Amit Shetty to be Embassy REIT’s CEO. With his pedigreed relationships with the leasing community and strong development and asset management capabilities, Amit will take the REIT to greater heights in this growth cycle for the Indian office market.”

As COO, Shetty was responsible for leasing, capital projects, and operations at Embassy REIT. With over 20 years of experience in office leasing, asset sales, construction, and operations across India, his past roles include leadership stints at Honeywell and CBRE, where he oversaw major corporate real estate developments.
