Learn to make a corner bench in 3 quick steps

Corner benches have always been a favourite home decor item. They not only enhance the tiniest of corners, they also double up as seating furniture. Here we teach you how to make a corner bench in three quick steps.

Materials needed

4 to 5 individual storage boxes (square in shape) Bolts A sheet of plywood Strong glue Foam sheets Fabric (vinyl) Stapler

Method

Step 1

Depending on the space available, use four or five wooden boxes. Place them side by side and secure them using bolts. Using a drill screw in bolts onto each box and secure them tight.

Step 2

Now using an inch tape and measure the length and breadth of the corner bench and cut out strips from the plywood. Now stick the plywood onto the base by applying some strong glue and set it aside to dry. Once dried, spread foam sheets over the plywood and stick them using some strong glue.

Step 3

After placing the foam sheets, cover it with some fabric preferable vinyl. Pull the fabric tight and secure it by stapling the ends. Ensure that the fabric has no creases. Once ready, deck the corner bench with some cushions and voila you have a modern corner sofa!
