Marvel Rivals introduces Galacta's Cosmic Adventure event and Clone Rumble mode

The Clone Rumble mode in Marvel Rivals

Team-based superhero action game Marvel Rivals has introduced the Galacta's Cosmic Adventure event and the Clone Rumble mode as part of a new patch. The Galacta’s Cosmic Adventure event in Marvel Rivals is a board game-style event and will continue for over a month. The special game event gives you the chance to snag Black Widow’s Mrs. Barnes series costume as one of the free rewards.

The Galacta's Cosmic Adventure event will run from March 7, 2025, 01:00:00 AM PT (2.30 PM IST) to April 11, 2025, 01:59:59 AM PT (3.29 PM IST).

Marvel Rivals: The Clone Rumble mode

The Clone Rumble mode is a new gameplay mode “where you and your teammates choose from the same heroes to battle together!”. It’s essentially a battle of clones of any one of the super-powered characters featured in the Marvel game. Both teams could choose any one of them. The Clone Rumble trailer features 12 Punishers, 12 Captain Americas, 12 Groots, etc. in separate 6v6 matches.

In Clone Rumble, the two opposing teams vote for one superhero each. Players from both teams then choose one of the two chosen heroes in 6v6 battles. Imagine 12 clones of the same character in the 6v6 match. It looks to be a chaotic game mode where having the same powers on both sides will require a different winning strategy.
