Unicommerce has partnered with WoodenStreet to streamline its e-commerce operations and improve efficiency across online channels. WoodenStreet, founded in 2015, offers furniture and home decor products through its website and online marketplaces, with over 100 experience stores in India.
Unicommerce's technology will automate WoodenStreet's order processing across various online channels, providing real-time inventory visibility across its 20+ warehouses. This will enable faster and more accurate delivery of products.
WoodenStreet will use Unicommerce's flagship platform, Uniware, to integrate its order management and warehouse management systems, along with its marketplace reconciliation tool, Unireco. By assigning orders to the nearest warehouse, Unicommerce aims to reduce delivery time and costs for WoodenStreet.
A business-specific customization by Unicommerce includes a multi-part shipment feature, allowing WoodenStreet to split a single customer order into multiple shipments based on product availability, warehouse location, or delivery timelines. This will expedite the dispatch of ready-to-ship items.
Unireco will enable WoodenStreet to automate payment and return reconciliation across marketplaces, providing order-wise revenue visibility and facilitating the resolution of incorrect charges.
