Wipro shares trade flat ahead of Q4 results today; key focus on BFSI demand, large deals

    Wipro share price traded flat ahead of the fourth quarter results of the IT major on Wednesday. The stock was trading at Rs 245.05 per share on the NSE in the early trade, up 0.43 percent. The results of the Bengaluru-headquartered company will be declared post 3:30 pm, after the market hours.

    The company in an exchange filing, said "Wipro Limited, a leading technology services and consulting company, will announce results for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2025, on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, after stock market trading hours in India."

    After the results, the company's management will also discuss the performance for the March quarter. "At 7:00 PM IST following the results announcement, the senior management will discuss the company’s performance for the quarter," the company said in an exchange filing.

    According to a CNBC-TV18 poll, there will be a key focus on BFSI demand, large deals and client spending in the management commentary today. Wipro is likely to report Rs 23,112.5 crore in revenue, while the Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) is seen at Rs 3957.2 crore and margin at 17.1 percent.

    Wipro Ltd reported a 4.5 percent quarter-on-quarter increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 3,354 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2024, surpassing analysts’ expectations. The IT major's Q3 FY25 revenue remained flat at Rs 22,319 crore, growing 0.1 percent sequentially.

    Wipro declared an interim dividend of Rs 6 per share and revised its capital allocation policy to commit at least 70 percent of net income as payouts over a three-year period.
