Voltamp, Nykaa shares fall up to 3.3% amid large block trades

Shares of Voltamp Transformers and Nykaa were trading up to 3.3% lower on September 9 due to large block trades in both the stocks.

8.12 lakh shares of Voltamp Transformers, which represents 8% equity, worth Rs 618 crore changed hands at Rs 7,611 apiece through block trades.

CNBC-Awaaz reported on September 8 that promoter Kunjal Patel could be selling the shares.

At 12:15 pm on September 9, Voltamp shares were trading 3.3% lower at Rs 7,521 apiece.

Patel currently holds about 37.8% in the company.

In June quarter, Voltamp reported a nearly flat net profit of Rs 79.5 crore, with revenue down 1.1% year-on-year to Rs 423.6 crore. Its EBITDA fell 2.8% to Rs 72.7 crore, with margins narrowing slightly to 17.2%.

Meanwhile, 1.23 million shares of FSN E-Commerce Venture, the parents of Nykaa, changed hands in block trades on September 9, showed Bloomberg data.

At 12:15 pm on September 9, Nykaa shares were trading 3% lower at Rs 239.86 apiece.
