Shalby Ltd. has announced a partnership between Shalby Academy and Bhartiya Skill Development University (BSDU), Jaipur, to launch Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc.) programs in Allied Health and Paramedic Skills. The collaboration aims to provide B.Voc in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT), B.Voc. in Operation Theatre & Anesthesia Technology (OT&AT), and B.Voc. in Medical Radiology Imaging Technology (MRIT).
Under this initiative, the programs will follow a Swiss Dual Learning Model, with four days of clinical training at Shalby Hospitals and two days of academic learning at BSDU, along with an industry-aligned curriculum. As the industry partner, Shalby Ltd. will provide hands-on training opportunities at its facilities in Jaipur. This exposure will be integrated into the academic curriculum, ensuring students gain valuable hands-on experience. Top-performing students will receive preferential placement opportunities within the Shalby Hospital network.
This partnership represents Shalby Academy's 11th academic collaboration across India and its second in Rajasthan, reaffirming its commitment to developing industry-ready healthcare professionals through academic synergy.
The MoU signing ceremony was graced by Dr. Shaikh Juned Saoud, Registrar, BSDU, Mr. Babu Thomas, Group CHRO of Shalby Ltd., and dignitaries including Mr. Rolf P. Siebold (CEO, Rajendra Urshula Joshi Trust), Ms. Silvia Rosery (Project Manager, Rajendra Urshula Joshi Trust), and Mr. Sudeep Khanna (Provost, BSDU).
This collaboration is set to play a crucial role in addressing the increasing demand for qualified professionals in the healthcare sector, combining academic rigor with real-world expertise.
