Samir Arora’s flagship fund ramps up positions in ICICI Bank, HPCL; fresh entries in LG Electronics, IOCL in October

The fund fully exited the following stocks during October: HDFC Life Insurance, Niva Bupa Health Insurance, and Westlife Foodworld.

According to the latest disclosure, Samir Arora–backed Helios Mutual Fund’s flagship Flexi Cap Fund saw its cash holdings decrease in October 2025 to 1.43% from 2.44% in September 2025. The fund’s total AUM now stands at Rs 4,933.69 crore.

The top 5 holdings as of October 2025 were HDFC Bank. ICICI Bank, Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone, Eternal and One 97 Communications.

Here were some of the top stocks in which positions were increased:

ICICI Bank

The fund increased its stake by 2.08 lakh shares, taking its total holding to 15.08 lakh shares worth Rs 202.81 crore, compared to Rs 175.15 crore earlier.

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation

Helios added 8.52 lakh shares, taking total holdings to 31.06 lakh shares valued at Rs 147.83 crore, up sharply from Rs 99.93 crore.

Adani Ports & SEZ

The fund added 80,364 shares, raising its holding to 13.39 lakh shares worth Rs 194.30 crore, compared to Rs 176.59 crore.

Delhivery

The fund added 1.29 lakh shares, taking the position to 19.30 lakh shares valued at Rs 89.92 crore, up from Rs 81.06 crore.

Lemon Tree Hotels

Helios bought 3.12 lakh shares, increasing the holding to 32.53 lakh shares valued at Rs 53.76 crore, up from Rs 48.90 crore earlier.

Bharti Airtel

The fund increased its holding by 77,708 shares, taking the total to 7.65 lakh shares worth Rs 157.20 crore, compared to Rs 129.13 crore.

Bharat Electronics

Helios added 2.36 lakh shares, taking total holdings to 29.32 lakh shares valued at Rs 124.92 crore, up from Rs 108.89 crore.

Cummins India

The fund bought 0.58 lakh shares, raising the holding to 2.15 lakh shares worth Rs 93.49 crore, compared to Rs 61.77 crore earlier.

InterGlobe Aviation (IndiGo)

Helios purchased 20,000 shares, taking its total holding to 99,943 lakh shares, valued at Rs 56.22 crore, up from Rs 44.68 crore.

Gokaldas Exports

The fund added 1.50 lakh shares, taking the position to 5.99 lakh shares valued at Rs 50.27 crore, compared to Rs 32.37 crore earlier.

ICICI Lombard

The fund increased its stake by 77,150 shares, now holding 2.46 lakh shares valued at Rs 49.10 crore, up from Rs 31.89 crore.

New Stocks Added

The fund made four fresh entries in October.

Reliance Industries

The fund initiated a new position with 7.08 lakh shares, valued at Rs 105.25 crore, giving the stock a 2.15% weight in the overall portfolio.

Indian Oil Corporation

Helios entered the counter with 39.38 lakh shares worth Rs 65.34 crore, representing 1.33% of the fund’s AUM.

LG Electronics India

A new position was established with 2.9 lakh shares, valued at Rs 48.18 crore, accounting for 0.98% of the portfolio.

Acutaas Chemicals

The fund added a smaller allocation of 0.82 lakh shares, valued at Rs 14.09 crore, giving it a 0.29% weight in the portfolio.

Positions Exited

The fund fully exited the following stocks during October: HDFC Life Insurance, Niva Bupa Health Insurance, and Westlife Foodworld.
