Coromandel International Limited announced on September 17, 2025, the receipt of a request from Yanmar Coromandel Agrisolutions Private Limited (YCAS) for reclassification from the 'promoter and promoter group' category to the 'public' category. The request is made under Regulation 30 read with Regulation 31(A)(8) of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
The reclassification request is due to a change in the shareholding of Coromandel International Limited (CIL) in YCAS, which decreased from 40% to 10.60%. This change occurred following a fund infusion of ₹149.72 Crores by Yanmar Asia (Singapore) Corporation Pte Ltd (Yanmar Singapore) on September 27, 2024. As a result, YCAS no longer falls under the definition of a Promoter group as specified in the SEBI (Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2018, because CIL holds less than 20% of YCAS's equity share capital.
As of the date of the request letter, YCAS does not hold any shares in Coromandel International Limited.

The request will be presented before the Board of Directors, as stipulated under Regulation 31A (3) of the SEBI Listing Regulations. Following the Board's approval, the company will submit an application seeking no-objection from the National Stock Exchange of India Limited and BSE Limited.
