Ashok Leyland board is likely to consider the proposal for issue of bonus shares in its upcoming board meeting on Friday, May 23, the company has informed the shareholders through an exchange filing. The commercial vehicle maker will also declare its financial results for the quarter and financial year ended March 31, 2025 on the same date.
The company in an exchange filing, said "a Board meeting is proposed to be convened on 23rd May 2025 for considering the standalone and consolidated audited financial results for the financial year ended March 31,2025, amongst others."
"At the meeting dated 23rd May 2025, the Board of Directors may consider the proposal for issue of bonus shares, subject to requisite approvals as required," it added.
Earlier on May 17, the flagship of the Hinduja Group declared a second interim dividend of Rs 4.25 per equity share of face value Re 1 for the financial year ended March 31, 2025. The company has announced so far for FY25 a total interim dividend of 625 percent ie., Rs. 6.25 per share on a face value of Re 1.
The second interim dividend will be paid to eligible shareholders on or before June 14, 2025, the company said in a release.
Shares of Ashok Leyland on Monday settled over 2 percent higher at Rs 242.8 per share on the NSE, up 2.3 percent.
