
Ace investor Ashish Kacholia has sold 3.55 percent stake in Cosmic CRF, the manufacturer of cold rolled formed steel sections for railway and industrial applications, and almost exited BEW Engineering, the pharmaceutical filter dryer maker, via open market transactions on March 18. Suryavanshi Commotrade was the buyer in both transactions.
Cosmic CRF shares were locked in 10 percent upper circuit at Rs 693.45 amid high volumes, after significant correction in the past five consecutive sessions, however, BEW Engineering shares fell 0.48 percent to Rs 83.5, the lowest closing level since November 2021, on the National Stock Exchange.
Suryavanshi Commotrade has acquired 3.26 lakh shares (equivalent to 3.55 percent of paid-up equity) in Cosmic CRF from Ashish Ramesh Kacholia at Rs 650.24 per share, valued at Rs 21.2 crore.
The shareholding pattern of Cosmic CRF for December 2025 quarter was not available on the exchange, but as per September 2025, Ashish Kacholia was holding 3.09 lakh shares (3.37 percent stake) in the company.
Suryavanshi Commotrade also acquired 6.33 lakh shares (4.8 percent stake) in BEW Engineering from Ashish Kacholia at Rs 84.66 per share, amounting to Rs 5.36 crore. BEW Engineering also reported shareholding pattern till September 2025.
Meanwhile, Electrosteel Castings was also in focus, rising 6.23 percent to Rs 72.78 on the NSE. Electrosteel Thermal Coal has acquired 2.05 crore shares (3.31 percent) in the company that makes ductile iron pipes, and iron fittings, from India Opportunities Growth Fund Ltd - Pinewood Strategy for Rs 143.5 crore. The transaction price was Rs 70 per share.
India Opportunities Growth Fund was holding 3.49 percent stake in Electrosteel Castings as of December 2025.
The brisk action was also seen in Shankara Building Products, the building materials supplier, which shares rose 4.34 percent to Rs 109.9 on the NSE. The Ballygunge Family Trust has picked up 2.04 lakh shares (0.84 percent stake) in the company at Rs 109.51 per share for Rs 2.24 crore, however, ACE Infracity Developers sold 2 lakh shares (0.82 percent stake) at Rs 109.5 per share, valued at Rs 2.19 crore.
Yatra Online shares also saw buying interest after hitting more than seven-month low in the past sessions, rising 6.82 percent to Rs 106.65 on the NSE. Belgrave Investment Fund has acquired 16.89 lakh shares (1.07 percent stake) at Rs 105.02 per share for Rs 17.7 crore, however, ITI Holdings and Investment sold 15 lakh shares (0.95 percent stake) at Rs 105.11 per share, amounting to Rs 15.76 crore.
Filatex Fashions remained in action in current month, closing flat at Rs 0.17 for another session on the National Stock Exchange. Promoter Prabhat Sethia has been selling shareholder in the company, offloading further 4.69 crore shares (0.56 percent stake) in the textile company at Rs 0.17 per share, valued at Rs 79.77 lakh.
Prabhat Sethia, in total, sold 2.85 percent stake in Filatex Fashions in current month so far.
