45 new F&O stocks on NSE: Full list with lot sizes and symbols including Zomato, Paytm, LIC, more

Analysts have previously said that inclusion in the Futures & Options (F&O) segment can significantly enhance trading volumes and price discovery for the 45 new stocks.

    The National Stock Exchange (NSE) has expanded its futures and options (F&O) segment, adding 45 stocks effective today, November 29, 2024. This inclusion increases the total number of stocks available for derivatives trading to 223, including prominent ones such as LIC, Jio Financial Services, Avenue Supermarts, Adani Green Energy, Paytm, Zomato, YES Bank, and BSE.

    Analysts have previously said that inclusion in the derivatives segment can significantly enhance trading volumes and price discovery for these stocks. NSE MD and CEO Ashish Chauhan said that many of these stocks were included after achieving higher liquidity and size thresholds.

    The inclusion of these stocks follows SEBI’s revised criteria for inclusion in the F&O segment, which focuses on enhanced liquidity and market participation. The full list of newly added stocks, along with their trading symbols and lot sizes, is as follows:

    1. Adani Energy Solutions Limited (ADANIENSOL) – Lot size: 625
    2. Adani Green Energy Limited (ADANIGREEN) – Lot size: 375
    3. Angel One Limited (ANGELONE) – Lot size: 200
    4. APL Apollo Tubes Limited (APLAPOLLO) – Lot size: 350
    5. Adani Total Gas Limited (ATGL) – Lot size: 775
    6. Bank of India (BANKINDIA) – Lot size: 4,825
    7. BSE Limited (BSE) – Lot size: 125
    8. Computer Age Management Services Limited (CAMS) – Lot size: 125
    9. Central Depository Services (India) Limited (CDSL) – Lot size: 350
    10. CESC Limited (CESC) – Lot size: 2,925
    11. CG Power and Industrial Solutions Limited (CGPOWER) – Lot size: 725
    12. Cyient Limited (CYIENT) – Lot size: 300
    13. Delhivery Limited (DELHIVERY) – Lot size: 1,525
    14. Avenue Supermarts Limited (DMART) – Lot size: 150

    The addition is expected to generate increased interest among traders leveraging derivatives for hedging and speculative activities.
