10-year yields seen between 8.25-8.50%: Dhawal Dalal

Recent smart outperformance by bond yields post RBI's OMO announcement on August 21 will provide a short term cap on the yield movement, says Dhawal Dalal, DSP BlackRock Invst Managers.

Dhawal Dalal, DSP BlackRock Invst Managers said, "Government bond prices are likely to react today to RBI's OMO purchase and auction outcome, while, overall volatility cannot be ruled out. Recent smart outperformance by bond yields post RBI's OMO announcement on August 21 will provide a short term cap on the yield movement. The range for the 10-year is seen between 8.25-8.50% in the near-term."
