The Indian rupee opened at 44.76 per dollar versus 44.78 yesterday.

The Indian rupee opened at 44.76 per dollar versus 44.78 yesterday.

N Subramaniam, Pinnacle Forex said that, "The rupee is likely to be more volatile today. Month-end dollar demand combined with squaring of short dollar positions could limit rupee's gains. The range for the day is seen between 44.60- 44.90/$."
