ITD Cementation re-appoints Jayanta Basu as Managing Director

ITD Cementation on Friday announced that its Board of Director has approved the re-appointment of Jayanta Basu as the Managing Director with effect from 1 st April, 2025 to 31st March, 2028. Earlier, Basu assumed the position of Managing Director of the Company on 23 April 2019.

He is a graduate of Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (formerly Bengal Engineering College), Calcutta University. He has over 39 years of hands-on experience in Engineering, Construction, Project Management and Contracts Management of Heavy Civil Engineering Projects.

He began his career with the Company as a Graduate Engineer Trainee in 1986 and rose through the ranks to become Chief Operating Officer of ITD Cementation in the year 2017.

“Basu is a domain expert in the Engineering and Construction of Maritime Structures, having managed successful execution of intricate infrastructure projects. His core competencies are in the areas of Project Management, Contracts Management, Advancement of Tendering, Estimation models on assigned benchmarks and Business Development,” the company siad in a regulatory filing.

The ITD Cementation stock closed at 557.40 on Friday, up by 2.35 or 0.42% on BSE.
