Studds Accessories shares settled 4 percent lower from the IPO price on debut day at Rs 559.40 per share on the NSE on November 7.
The shares made a subdued stock market debut, lisitng at about 3 percent discount to its initial public offering (IPO) price. The Rs 455-crore issue received 73.25 times subscription, led by heavy demand from institutional buyers between October 30-November 3 in the primary market.
The shares of helmets manufacturer Studds Accessories Ltd were listed at Rs 565 per share on the NSE, a discount of 3.42 percent. The issue had a price band of Rs 557-585 per share.
On the BSE, the shares of the company were listed at Rs 570 apiece, a discount of 2.56 percent. The company's total market capitalization post listing of shares stood at Rs 2,243.14 crore.
Studds Accessories stock market debut was below than the expectations in the grey market, which had expected about 7 percent listing gains.

Narendra Solanki, Head of Fundamental Research – Investment Services at Anand Rathi Shares and Stock Brokers, said Studds Accessories is India’s largest two-wheeler helmet maker by revenue in FY24 and the world’s largest by volume in CY24, with nearly five decades of experience.
"As of March 31, 2025, its three manufacturing units have a combined annual capacity of 9.04 million units, with 7.4 million helmets sold in FY25. Its brands, Studds and SMK, are sold across India and in more than 70 countries, including the Americas, Europe and Asia," Solanki said. The company also manufactures helmets for Jay Squared LLC (Daytona) and O’Neal for overseas markets and offers riding accessories under the Studds brand.
"At the upper price band, the company is valued at a P/E of 28.5 times its FY26 annualised earnings and a market capitalisation of Rs 2,302.1 crore post-issue. Investors may consider holding the stock from a long-term perspective depending on their risk appetite," he added.

The company supplies products to leading motorcycle original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), including Hero MotoCorp, Honda Cars India, Suzuki Motorcycle India, Eicher Motors (Royal Enfield), and India Yamaha Motor.
It also caters to government and institutional buyers, such as the Central Police Canteens and the Canteen Stores Department.
