Infosys Limited has renewed its partnership with the ATP Tour until 2026, a move aimed at pushing the boundaries of digital innovation in professional tennis, the Indian IT services firm said on March 6.
The three-year extension of the partnership underscored the company's continued dedication to leveraging its expertise in cutting-edge digital technologies, the firm said.
“We are proud and excited to extend our relationship with the ATP — it was our first partnership in the world of sports and has been integral to our global brand outreach. We are enthusiastic about the next phase of AI-powered digital innovations, driven by Infosys Topaz, which will demonstrate to all our stakeholders how we can amplify the potential of this sport, especially through AI,” Sumit Virmani, EVP & Global Chief Marketing Officer, Infosys, said
The company was committed to transforming the professional tennis arena by introducing advanced solutions that focused on artificial intelligence, data analytics and cloud technologies, Infosys said.
Its collaboration with ATP since 2015 involved digital projects such as the overhaul of the ATP PlayerZone, the launch of the first ATP Tour fan app and the introduction of AI-driven features through Infosys Topaz.
Daniele Sano, ATP Chief Business Officer, applauded Infosys for addressing environmental challenges via the ATP carbon tracker and promoting eco-friendly choices.
“We’re excited to further leverage Infosys’ expertise across the digital landscape of men’s professional tennis over the next three years,” Sano said.
On March 6, the Infosys stock closed at Rs 1,618.50 on the National Stock Exchange, up 0.75 percent from the previous day.
