Wipro CEO and Managing Director Srinivas Pallia earned $6.2 million (or about Rs 53.64 crore) in the financial year ended March 31, 2025, a 10 percent increase over the previous year.
The IT services company posted a nearly 19 percent rise in annual profits in FY25.
Pallia, who took charge as CEO on April 7, 2024, earned $1.7 million in salary and allowances, $1.7 million in commission and variable pay, $2.8 million under ‘other’ components, and $68,850 as long-term compensation, Wipro’s latest 20-F filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission showed.
He was also granted 16.77 lakh stock options with staggered lock-in periods.

Despite the increase, Pallia’s FY25 compensation was less than half of the $20 million (or about Rs 168 crore) earned by his predecessor Thierry Delaporte in FY24, then one of the highest payouts among Indian IT executives.
Meanwhile, Wipro Executive Chairman Rishad Premji’s earnings more than doubled during the year to $1.6 million (approximately Rs 13.7 crore), though they remained significantly lower than Pallia’s.
In FY24, Premji had drawn $769,456 (or Rs 6.4 crore) after voluntarily taking a 20 percent pay cut and foregoing commission in light of the company’s low consolidated profits.
The compensation uptick in FY25 follows a turnaround in the company’s financials. Wipro reported an 18.9 percent increase in net profit to Rs 13,135.4 crore for the fiscal year. Both Pallia and Premji are entitled to a commission of 0.35 percent on the incremental consolidated net profits over the previous year.
Unlike Pallia, Premji did not receive any stock options in FY25, according to the filing.
