Former Nokia India head Sanjay Malik joins Tejas Networks as EVP and Chief Strategy & Business Officer

Domestic telecom gear maker Tejas Networks has appointed Sanjay Malik, a telecom industry veteran and former India Country Head of Nokia, as its Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy and Business Officer.

In his new role, Malik will collaborate closely with Tejas Networks’ CEO and senior leadership team to drive corporate strategy, business management, and engagement with key stakeholders, including government entities, customers, and partners in both domestic and international markets.

“With a world-class product portfolio, deep technology expertise, and promising successes in both domestic and international markets, Tejas stands on the cusp of a major transformation. Malik brings more than two decades of experience in the global telecom industry, having held various senior leadership positions at Nokia. He served as the Senior Vice President and India Country Head for nearly eight years, steering Nokia India to a market leadership position.

Malik’s expertise spans strategy, sales, business management, and operational execution across both domestic and international markets.

Malik holds an MBA from IIM Mumbai and has completed several executive leadership programs during his illustrious career.
