ZMCL Q3 net loss shrinks to Rs 1 crore

ZMCL's income from operation on a consolidated basis inched up 1.84 percent to Rs 141.35 crore during the quarter under review as against Rs 138.79 crore a year ago.

    Zee Media Corporation Ltd (ZMCL) today reported narrowing down of its consolidated net loss to Rs 1.11 crore for the third quarter ended December. Consolidated net loss stood at Rs 10.41 crore in the same period last fiscal, ZMCL said in a filing to BSE. ZMCL's income from operation on a consolidated basis inched up 1.84 percent to Rs 141.35 crore during the quarter under review as against Rs 138.79 crore a year ago.

    ZMCL owns a cluster of news channels, including Zee News, Zee Business, India 24x7, Zee Punjab Haryana Himachal, Zee Madhya Pradesh Chhattisgarh, Zee 24 Taas, 24 Ghanta, Zee Kalinga News, Maurya TV and Zee Rajasthan News. It also owns a newspaper -- DNA. The ZMCL stock today settled at Rs 18.35 on BSE.
