Retail company Shoppers Stop's July-September quarter profit is seen falling 3.7 percent year-on-year to Rs 15.3 crore, according to analysts polled by CNBC-TV18.
Bottomline may see one time hit owing to shutting of certain stores and new openings. It may also get impacted by higher depreciation.
Revenue is likely to increase 11.5 percent to Rs 950 crore from Rs 852 crore in same period.
Analysts expect muted quarter with 5 percent same-store-sales growth.
Operating profit may rise 6.5 percent year-on-year to Rs 59.2 crore but margin may decline 30 basis points to 6.2 percent during the quarter due to subdued performances.
