Medanta Hospitals operator Global Health Ltd has reported a 25 percent year-on-year (YoY) rise in net profit at Rs 127.3 crore for the March quarter of financial year 2023-24.

The company had reported a net profit of Rs 101.8 crore in the year-ago period, according to an exchange filing on May 17.

The hospital operator's revenue from operations came in at Rs 808 crore, a 14 percent rise from the year-ago period's Rs 707 crore.

Global Health was established in 2004 by Dr Naresh Trehan as a super-specialty tertiary-care hospital in Gurugram. Medanta Medicity, which commenced operations in November 2009, has a 1,400-beds capacity.

In FY15, Medanta entered into an arrangement to manage 150-bed hospitals each in Indore and Ranchi. The company also operates two hospitals in Lucknow and Patna and is setting up one in Uttar Pradesh’s Noida.
