India’s third largest IT services major HCLTech on April 22 reported 8 percent on-year rise in net profit at Rs 4,307 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2025, up from Rs 3,986 Crore in the same quarter previous fiscal. This is a seasonally weak quarter for the company due to weakness in product business and margin pressures.

HCLTech's revenue from operations rose 6 percent to Rs 30,246 crore in Q4FY25 as against Rs 28,499 Crore crore in Q4FY24.

For the full year FY25, revenue growth was up by 6.5 percent to Rs 117,055 crores, from Rs 109,913 Crore in FY24. This was a 4.7 percent growth in constant currency (CC) terms, in line with the company’s growth guidance of 4.5-5 percent for the full year.

Net profit for FY25 grew 10.8 percent to Rs 17,390 crores, against Rs 15,702 Crore in FY24

Ebit margin for FY25 came in at 18.3 percent, in line with the guidance of 18-19%.

“HCLTech grew the fastest among our peers for the second year in a row as we witnessed yet another year of disciplined execution. We delivered on our FY25 guidance with revenue growth of 4.7 percent in constant currency and EBIT margin of 18.3 percent. HCL Software growth continues to accelerate as it grew 3.5 percent CC this year. During this quarter, our services business delivered healthy growth of 0.7 percent QoQ CC amidst volatile market conditions," said C Vijayakumar, CEO & Managing Director, HCLTech.

He added, "We saw very strong new bookings of $3 billion this quarter catalysed by our AI propositions and integrated GTM organisation that was set up at the start of the fiscal year. The strength of our execution should present us good medium-term opportunities emerging out of global uncertainties while we navigate the short-term cautiously."

For the full year, total contract value for deal wins came in at $9.26 billion.

HCLTech has however reduced revenue growth guidance for the full year FY26 to 2-5 percent in CC terms, slashing the lower end of growth by 250 basis points as compared to FY25 guidance.

The company announced a dividend of Rs 18 per share.

Ahead of the results today, HCLTech shares on BSE closed 0.26 percent higher at Rs 1,486 apiece on NSE.
