Ashoka Buildcon’s Q2 profit seen at RS 47 crire; strong operating margin likely

    Infrastructure major Ashoka Buildcon is likely to post a 4 percent growth in PAT at Rs 47 crore against Rs 45 crore in the previous year, CNBC-TV18’s poll of analysts has revealed.

    The revenue is seen higher by 39% at Rs 614 crore against Rs 442 crore in the same quarter last year.

    The earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) is likely to be higher at 13 percent at Rs 79 crore versus Rs 70 crore in the previous year.

    Meanwhile, the margin is seen lower by 12.8 percent against 15.8 percent.

    Analysts recommend watching out for EBITDA margin which could decline due to high base of last year. They also see improvement in traffic growth for operational BOT projects. Moreover, progress of CGD and airport projects will be closely watched, they added.

    Ashoka Buildcon was quoting at Rs 224.20, down Rs 6.70, or 2.90 percent, on the BSE.
